Yesterday, Donald Trump lost his temper with the tens of millions of Americans who sensibly do not want giant, noisy, polluting data centers built in their backyard and claimed on Truth Social that “the only reason that communities throughout the U.S.A. should not want Data Centers is if they want to end up being backwards and poor!”
The billionaire grifter continued raging against the very people who helped put him in power, writing, “If we kill the Golden Goose, you will only have yourselves to blame.”
Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to this incredibly rude and condescending proclamation with a clever proposal: “I mean, how about we put one in Mar-a-Lago?” AOC asked, speaking with MeidasTouch’s Pablo Manríquez. “Let’s put a data center up in Mar-a-Lago and we’ll see how backwards and poor he is in response to that!” After all, what’s good for the geese must also be good for the gold-plated gander, right?
Somehow we don’t think Donald will like that… but we do fully support Trump continuing to tether himself to one of the most unpopular political stances in the country while denigrating anyone who dares to disagree as “backwards and poor.”

You just love to see it, folks. Democrat David Leslie, who came in fourth in Alaska’s ranked-choice primary and would have been the last candidate on the November ballot in the race for Alaska’s must-win Senate seat, waited until the last possible day before dropping out of the race, elevating a THIRD Republican, Gerald Heikes, onto the final ballot alongside Dan Sullivan and Dan Sullivan.
This means that Democrat Mary Peltola stands alone against three Republicans, giving her yet another slight edge that she will definitely need to pull off a victory in traditionally red Alaska.
Even better news? VoteHub just moved the Alaska Senate race from “Tossup” to “Lean Democrat,” in a sign of just how strong a campaign Peltola is running. “Despite Alaska’s red lean, Peltola has led our polling average every day since launch, outraised Sullivan by $4M this cycle, and nearly won a majority in the August all-party primary,” wrote VoteHub on Twitter.

And so the rats begin to flee the sinking ship. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has resigned after 18 months on the job, and Deputy Under Secretary of the Army Dave Fitzgerald is expected to be leaving shortly, as well.
The resignations come on the heels of damning leaks from top military officials frustrated with Pete Hegseth’s disastrous handling of the Iran war, warning that “prolonging large-scale operations against Iran is unsustainable and risks weakening their ability to confront threats elsewhere.”
Turns out the only “regime change” that Trump and Hegseth have been able to accomplish thus far is here on the home front. Great job, guys!
Startling new Melania claim offered up by former Trump biographer
Michael Wolff, author of the 2018 best-seller, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, revealed in a new Substack piece on Monday that Melania Trump has not spent a single night at the White House since the MAGA cult leader returned to the presidency more than 600 days ago.
Wolff, who was told by top aides that Donald’s third wife would be more like a “part-time first lady” during his second term, also recalled a particularly memorable exchange in 2024, when a Trump aide bluntly explained Melania’s absence on the campaign trail at the time: “She hates his fucking guts.”
