What transpired next played out like a perfectly scripted tragicomedy: The crowd loudly booed Donald (again), Infantino desperately and awkwardly tried to usher him away, and a hot mic picked up an Australian broadcaster’s comment that producers “can edit him out of that.” Incredibly, that’s exactly what Spain did. Absolutely pitch perfect.

Curiously, the very department within the FDA that tracks cyclospora outbreaks saw its ranks thinned last year by Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s mindnumbingly stupid DOGE crusade. Surely just a coincidence, right?

Others seem to believe Donald is souring on the debacle in Iran, which Israel pressured the United States to attack nearly five months ago, triggering both a global energy crisis and widespread public disapproval — in an election year, no less.

Iran’s strategy of degrading US operational capacity in the region by bombing bases and bullying the Gulf nations to discourage cooperation with the US is a potent combination that leaves Trump with very little options, which is why he sued for peace in the first place. But he is incapable of abiding by terms laid down by someone else and refuses to accept a loss, so the plan appears to be throw more money and lives into the meat grinder in hopes that something changes.
