VIDEO OF THE DAY: Trump makes fumble of the year with wild confession

Donald Trump has really gone out of his way to unwittingly cut pitch-perfect campaign ads for Democrats this year, but yesterday’s “I love the inflation!” declaration from the Oval Office just may take the cake.

Bombshell revelation of Trump’s appalling “nipple abuse” fetish prompted panicky Situation Room meeting
We really did not need “nipple abuse” injected into the American lexicon, but then no one has really needed anything the MAGA cult leader has rammed down the country’s collective throat for the better part of the last decade. How anyone can still stand behind, beside, or anywhere near this amoral cave troll is beyond explanation.

New poll shows Gina Hinojosa within striking distance of MAGA loony Greg Abbott

Gina Hinojosa for Texas: Gov. Greg Abbott has become a national figure for his astonishing mismanagement, breathtaking corruption, and shocking cruelty. He’s the man who stripped Medicaid from two millions Texans, most of them kids. He’s the man who has spent years trying to privatize our public school systems and funneled a billion taxpayer dollars into the pockets of his donors. He’s the man who refused to use state money to feed kids during the SNAP freeze. Former school board president Gina Hinojosa is running to put an end to Abbott’s depravity once and for all — and a new poll shows her within single digits after just a few months of campaigning. Will you chip in to help her take advantage of Abbott’s barrel-bottom 32% (!) approval rating and turn Texas blue?

Trump saw 22 specialists in latest medical exam — nearly double his previous checkup
The 238-pound, 79-year-old huckster-in-chief who struggles walking down stairs, routinely nods off in front of Oval Office audiences, and regularly applies makeup to conceal disturbing bruises and abrasions on his skin saw 22 different doctors during his third “annual” “well” visit in the past year at Walter Reed…because he is the epitome of perfect health. You know what they always say: get that 22nd opinion!

Elon Musk under fire for stoking anti-immigrant riots in Belfast

The world’s richest man-toddler simply could not resist using the internet’s largest megaphone to stoke tensions ever higher in Belfast, where racist malcontents have seized on the stabbing of a white Northern Ireland man by a Black Sudanese immigrant and engaged in widespread rioting, setting buildings and vehicles on fire for a second night as they hunt for anyone they think might be an immigrant.

Elon reposted messages on nüTwitter to his hundreds of millions of followers claiming that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer “hates white people” and that “millions” of immigrants must go. Sounds about white.

Fox News Host plays damning montage of Trump saying Iran War is “close” to ending since March
On Wednesday’s “Special Report” on Fox News, guest host John Roberts teed up an incriminating montage of Donald Trump’s incessant claims of an imminent end to his war with Iran, stretching back to late March. “That’s nine weeks of ‘We’re close to a deal,'” Roberts noted. “At some point you’ve got to acknowledge it’s not happening.”

When the cheerleaders at Fox grow tired of carrying the president’s dirty water, you know he’s truly lost the plot.

WSJ files scathing motion against Trump in Epstein lawsuit, calls his claims dishonest
The Wall Street Journal has responded to the MAGA cult leader’s second attempt to sue for defamation over an article about his infamous contribution to Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday book, filing a scathing motion to dismiss that excoriates the president’s legal team for “groundless” and dishonest arguments.

Legal experts were highly skeptical of the $10 BILLION lawsuit’s merit from the beginning. Because the president is a public figure, he has to prove the newspaper acted with “actual malice” in order to sustain a defamation claim; it’s a very high bar that political figures often fail to meet when attempting to sue journalists who have criticized them or published unflattering stories.

Foreign workers say they were paid less than $2 an hour to build a new $350 million US Consulate in Milan
Foreign workers building a sprawling $350 million American Consulate in Milan were paid less than $2 an hour after being promised fair wages, according to Associated Press interviews with five former employees and a review of their employment letters and pay stubs. Italian prosecutors are investigating Montgomery, Alabama-based Caddell Construction, a major builder of US diplomatic missions. Two of its managers in Italy were arrested this month on suspicion of labor exploitation, one while boarding a flight to leave the country and another planning to flee, prosecutors said.

If the name Caddell Construction sounds familiar, it just might be because the MAGA-aligned company was one of four firms Donald Trump tapped to design his ballyhooed border wall during his first term. Prior to Trump’s arrival on the political scene, Caddell was forced to settle criminal fraud charges brought by the Obama-era Justice Department, eventually paying a $3 million penalty in 2012. Old habits die hard, or something.

Several states are bowing out of Trump’s “Great American State Fair” on the National Mall
The president’s various dog and pony sideshows in Washington are becoming increasingly radioactive, even for people in red-ish states.

Prisoners’ letters expose hellish, unfathomable “living” conditions in subterranean Oklahoma prison “dungeon” known as The Tombs
In his famed 1994 autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom Nelson Mandela — who spent 27 years wrongfully imprisoned in apartheid South Africa before becoming the country’s first democratically elected president — wrote: “A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest ones.” By that metric — and any sensible measure of human dignity — the United States’ multi-billion-dollar prison industrial complex is a complete and abject failure.
