Vivek Ramaswamy hammered over despicable attack ad featuring Dem opponent’s estranged mother

The sheer depravity of the Republican Party was on full display this week when Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy released an attack ad featuring Donna Arthur, the estranged mother of Democratic candidate Amy Acton, calling her own daughter a liar.

The ad does not mention that Acton hasn’t spoken to her mother in years, because Arthur MARRIED THE PEDOPHILE WHO RAPED ACTON WHEN SHE WAS TWELVE YEARS OLD.

“This desperate, disgusting attack reveals exactly who Vivek Ramaswamy is at his core — a pathetic excuse for a man who is willing to hurt anyone as long as it gets him what he wants,” Acton’s brother said in a statement. Vivek must truly be desperate to stoop this low when the truth about Acton’s devastating ordeal is a matter of public record.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Iowa Republican humiliates herself with insane request

GOP Rep. Ashley Hinson, who has repeatedly voted against war powers resolutions to rein in Donald Trump’s disastrous “military excursion” in Iran all year, just asked her supporters for gas money at a campaign stop so she can continue campaigning on issues like…lowering gas prices and tackling the affordability crisis.

Hey, Ashley, you know might’ve helped keep oil under $100 a barrel and diesel NOT $6 a gallon? Congress doing its frickin’ job and halting Donald’s idiotic imperial adventurism in the Middle East! You cannot make this stuff up.

Take Action: Pass a national ban on partisan gerrymandering!

Democrat in must-win red-to-blue race hit with DERANGED attack from Trump

JoAnna Mendoza for Congress: Trump’s Super PAC has just released an absolutely unhinged new ad against veteran and top Democratic House candidate JoAnna Mendoza, pulling out the same anti-trans hysteria playbook of LIES that he used against Kamala Harris. It’s an all-hands-on-deck moment to fight back against this devious misinformation. Will you chip in to help Joanna flip this winnable red seat and take back control of Congress from the GOP?

Black MAGA influencer stunned after being kicked out of Ken Paxton rally in San Antonio: “I cannot believe this”
Black MAGA TikTok influencer Thelma Louise, who left the Democratic Party two years ago and went all in on Trump and the GOP ahead of the 2024 election, was kicked out of a Ken Paxton rally in San Antonio yesterday without explanation. In a post to her 200,000+ followers, a stunned Louise noted, “I was asked to leave… I’m a REPUBLICAN that has done nothing but support my party. I can’t believe I was treated like this… They were even told not to allow me back inside.”

Who wants to tell her?

Inflation hits Trump’s MAGA merch machine

It costs a pretty penny to out oneself as a dyed-in-the-wool cult member these days, and no, we’re not just talking about dignity. Donald’s signature red hats, which retailed for $25 when the swindler first ran for president in 2015, are now going for a cool $55 on the Trump Organization’s website, an increase of 120%.

Oh, and if you want to smell like the president? That will set you back even more. Bottles of Trump “Victory” perfume and cologne are now going for $249 a pop, a $150 increase from their original sale price of $99 when they were first introduced in February 2024. Truly, a man of and for the people!

Trump suggests he’ll sue news organizations into oblivion
We don’t usually say this, but we totally believe the president on this one.

Trump’s ex-border commander who oversaw Minnesota raids is now selling deportation-themed liquor
Donald Trump’s former Border Patrol commander and Nazi cosplay enthusiast Greg Bovino has a new grift, hawking $100 hate juice under the moniker “Commander’s Choice” bourbon. Each bottle features a depiction of himself in uniform along with the phrases “deport them all” and “America first.” Best poured over ice into a Dixie cup in a dark, dank, lonely basement.

A story about a Jewish friend — Qasim Rashid on his relationship with Dose of Democracy founder Stuart Perelmuter
Oh, hey! Just some fine (digital) ink on our not-normal founder from another not-normal progressive leader discussing the singular importance of defending, celebrating, and speaking up for ALL of humanity, no matter the consequences. Hear, hear!

Trump bizarrely claims GOP senator “was mandated by law” to sue hundreds of his own patients
Stumping for Republican incumbent Roger Marshall in unexpectedly competitive Kansas, Donald Trump weirdly brought up the widely publicized — and widely panned — revelation that the OB-GYN doctor-turned-senator sued HUNDREDS of his own patients over minor medical debts, and even had some women who could not pay their bills thrown in jail.

The MAGA cult leader claimed Marshall was “mandated by law” to ruin his patients’ lives over debts as small as $100, which is exactly the kind of “they-had-it-coming” thing a guy credibly accused of sexual misconduct by dozens of women might say.

Washington Post bashed for “journalistic malpractice” after failing to report that “voter” who tangled with Abdul El-Sayed over the weekend is a paid GOP operative
Turns out “Tommy,” the concerned voter from Detroit who tried to corner Democratic Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed with a tired, xenophobic attack about nonexistent ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, is actually Thomas Teepell, a longtime Republican strategist who previously worked for Missouri GOP Sen. Josh Hawley and, more recently, Kansas Republican gubernatorial candidate Philip Sarnecki, who ended his campaign in early August. Teepell’s father is also a longtime GOP strategist, having worked for former Louisiana governor and fleeting presidential wannabe Bobby Jindal.

But you wouldn’t know any of that if you got your news from The Washington Post, which curious left ALL that information out in its coverage of the failed hit job on El-Sayed. It’s almost as if someone at WaPo really doesn’t wan’t El-Sayed in DC. Wonder who it could be possibly be?
