Cosplay hillbilly JD Vance’s sanctimonious attempt to humble Abdul El-Sayed on the campaign trail backfired bigly yesterday. The vice president was stumping for MAGA man Mike Rogers in Monroe, Michigan, when he whipped out his trusty dog whistle and smugly called El-Sayed “a little weasel who should shut his mouth and show a little gratitude to the country that gave him everything.”

It’s a tired tactic trotted out by conservative, rich, white men when talking down to basically every other demographic, but, as is so often the case with Vance, it promptly blew up in his face.

Speaking a few hours later in Marquette, Michigan, El-Sayed siezed the moment, telling Michiganders there are “always a few very loud people, who are small and want to make us small like them.” The epidemiologist and Michigan Senate hopeful artfully worked in a few Ohio digs — it’s college football season, after all! — then went in for the kill shot: “You know, It’s funny, JD Vance called me a little weasel today. I’m like, ‘No, no, no, what you’re talking about is a fucking Wolverine.'”

MAGA donor threatens to “bring down the entire Trump administration”
GOP megadonor Eric Deters, who just weeks ago was forced to cancel his ballyhooed MAGA Freedom Fest after selling just SIX VIP tickets, is going nuclear in the wake of his very public falling out with Kimberly Guilfoyle, who begged him to cover her $100,000 credit card debt days before her Senate confirmation hearing to become US ambassador to Greece.

It seems Deters has no love remaining for Guilfoyle, whom he’s now suing for defamation after being dragged into her very embarrassing, very public downfall.

Deters’ frustration doesn’t end with the Mar-a-Lago succubus, however, as a video released yesterday makes painfully clear. In it, Deters claims to have dirt that could “bring down the entire Trump administration,” specifically calling out the “JD Vance-Marco Rubio [2028] ticket” by name.

Is there actually anything to Deters’ mad ramblings? Who the hell knows? But you love to hate to see it all the same. Roll the tape!

The latest chapter in America’s bloody, national nightmare of gun violence was sadly entered into the official record in Bend, Oregon, yesterday, when a 16-year-old kid shot his way through the locked doors of an elementary school with a long rifle and opened fire inside, murdering three children — ages 5, 8, and 11 — and a 54-year-old teacher before being gunned down himself by an armed bystander who beat police to the scene. Another child and adult were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Steel your nerves for the histrionic lionization of the bystander who stopped the massacre and pathetic admonitions from the right that “now is not the time” to discuss the ONE FUCKING THING that could help prevent these senseless tragedies in the first place: common sense gun control.

Katie Zacharia says failing the bar exam was “inconsequential” in describing herself as lawyer
The wheels are coming off the Zacharia train, and she’s only been press secretary for five days, folks. Yesterday, Katie Zacharia appeared on alt-right gutter troll Jack Posobiec’s podcast and curiously explained that NOT passing the bar exam was “somewhat inconsequential” to calling herself a lawyer, because at the time she failed the test she knew she was China-bound for work and wouldn’t need it there. Uh huh.

While this casual and disassociated relationship with the truth probably helped her enter Donald Trump’s orbit initially, it could very well prove her untimely undoing.

Last night, Zacharia sat down with Sean Hannity for what she clearly thought would be a soft-focus, safe-space interview. She was mistaken. Hannity went on offense, rattling Donald’s new mouthpiece and setting the internet ablaze with speculation in the process. Given Hannity’s closeness with Trump, you really have to believe the MAGA cult leader knew what was coming. Katie, on the other hand, most certainly did not.
