Trump tells 10-year-old rescued by teen lifeguard he probably would not have helped
Donald Trump hosted 16-year-old lifeguard Ryder Williams and Nathaniel Rai, the 10-year-old boy he saved from a powerful California current, at the White House yesterday and made sure to make the encounter maximally weird for everyone. Did anyone bother to ask the president what he might’ve done were he in Williams’ shoes? Of course not. Did the malignant narcissist opt to share anyway? Well, duh.
“I don’t know if I’d do it,” the president said while sitting between the two boys in the Oval Office. “I wouldn’t, probably. You’re lucky I wasn’t on the service that day,” Trump told Rai, who — again — is 10 years old.
What an odd time to choose to be weirdly honest. In those strange moments when Trump decides to tell us who he truly is, we should all definitely believe him.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Trump asked about his infatuated sidekick, deflects with more ballroom talk
When asked by a White House reporter about Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff’s stinging broadsides accusing him of frittering away his presidency on pet renovation projects and spending all his time with an infatuated 35-year-old aide, Donald Trump responded by…rambling on for several minutes about his ballroom and the many, many ways he’s made the White House tackier and shinier. Excellent rebuttals, sir!

Powerhouse Democrat puts key GOP seat in MAJOR jeopardy
Bob Brooks for Congress: Bob Brooks is not your typical politician. He’s done just about everything prior to entering politics: firefighter, union president, landscaper, dishwasher, truck driver, you name it. Just the kind of guy who knows what working people actually go through, what they truly need, and how to make their lives better. He’s earned a reputation for being an unshakeable advocate for working families.
That’s why he has the endorsement of Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Austin Davis, Sen. Bernie Sanders, the IAFF, SEIU, Rep. Chris Deluzio, and over 25 state senators and representatives. Pennsylvania knows and loves this man. The same can’t be said for his Republican opponent, Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, who tried to help Donald Trump steal the 2020 election and voted for the Big Awful Bill that is likely going to kick as many as 300,000 Pennsylvanians off of Medicaid and could blow an $800 million hole in food aid.
A first-term congressman, Mackenzie won his previous election by just 1%. This is an extremely winnable seat in one of the most important swing states in the country, and we have not only a candidate who can win, but one with the vision and the drive to fight for a better future after the votes are counted. Will you chip in to help jump-start Bob Brooks’ campaign for Pennsylvania’s 7th District?
GOP Senate candidate Ashley Hinson spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of campaign funds on luxury trips, fine dining
Republican Rep. Ashley Hinson is running for US Senate as a “working mom” who says she really feels Americans’ pain in these incredibly difficult economic times. Turns out Hinson is very in touch with just how expensive everything is these days. She’s spent more than $80,000 in campaign funds on meals at fancy steakhouses and upscale Italian restaurants in DC, including $39,000 at the GOP Capitol Hill Club, a private club where Republicans hobnob with lobbyists who routinely buy their loyalty.
But wait, there’s more! Hinson also took lavish vacations to some of the most exclusive luxury resorts in the country, with her campaign spending nearly $10,000 for lodging at beach resorts, opulent Vegas casinos, expansive retreats, one of the top ski lodges in the world, and a premier Beverly Hills Hotel. Very working class!

Embattled GOP rep doesn’t deny dating teenager while in Congress
“Technically speaking, it’s not illegal” is clearly not the sterling defense Republican Rep. Cory Mills thinks it is. The young woman in question, who has not been identified, reportedly graduated from high school in 2022, when Mills was 42 years old.
Mills’ relationship with former Miss United States Lindsey Langston ended in 2025 when she saw credible reports that the congressman had allegedly assaulted another woman. Have Florida 7th District voters finally seen enough of Mills, who still has Trump’s “Complete and Total Endorsement?” Today’s primary will soon tell.

Jesse Watters issues advice for Americans without healthcare: “get a job”
The human embodiement of a sexual harassment HR complaint has a message of empathy and hope for people struggling under the Trump administration: stop whining and get to work.
“I have my own plan for healthcare… How about get a job? Also, MAHA, ever heard of it? It’s called eat right and exercise. Maybe try that. I do it. And I don’t whine and go to the doctor for every ache and pain. I don’t run to the doctor and like jack up everybody’s healthcare bills!” Watters bloviated.
First off, healthcare should be a fundamental human right and one’s access to it should not be predicated on their ability to produce wealth for shareholders. Secondly, it’s pretty hard to get a job these days because the president Watters has dutifully propped up is doing his best to mangle the economy while he fights an unwinnable war. And thirdly, that’s a lot of big talk from a guy who’s paid millions of dollars a year to say racist and misogynistic things on TV while stalking his female coworkers.” Why don’t YOU get a real job, Jesse?
“He has failed us”: Air Force major arrested after calling for Trump’s impeachment unloads on president
Air Force Maj. Jason Watson, who was arrested at the US Capitol in July after calling for Donald Trump and JD Vance’s impeachment and removal from office, was in no mood to hold his tongue during an interview on CNN yesterday. “[Trump] has failed us,” Maj. Watson said. “Not only is he a failure as president, he is flagrantly violating the Constitution, breaking the law, engaged in rampant corruption, and is killing Americans — and that is unacceptable to me.” CNN’s Erin Burnett noted that Watson faces serious consequences for engaging in a protest as a sitting Air Force major, including removal from the service and loss of pay and benefits.

Trump launches new plan to give oil billionaires a blank check — and stick US with the bill!
Stop the Onshore Oil and Gas Rule Rollback: The Trump administration is trying to sneak through another huge handout to the oligarchy with a newly proposed rule to make oil billionaires richer, stick taxpayers with billion-dollar cleanup bills for their pollution, and shut the public out of the conversation — all at the same time. Luckily, there’s still time for us to make our voices heard. Click here to send a public comment to the Dept. of Interior and tell them we will NOT stand for oil companies sticking us with the bill for their messes while they make off with the profits! Lawyer says ICE detainee suffered brain bleed after violent apprehension, was guarded by agents instead of receiving private medical care
MeidasTouch has obtained a detailed narrative from the attorney representing Jose Mejia Hernandez, describing a violent apprehension by immigration authorities, a resulting brain injury, and what his lawyer characterizes as a hospitalization marked by constant ICE surveillance, limited communication with his own doctors, and days of silence to his family about his whereabouts.
According to his attorney, as Hernandez was walking to work in the morning of August 11, a truck rapidly approached him, and two men got out and ran toward him. Frightened and unsure who they were or what they wanted, he ran. While fleeing, he says he was struck with what he believes was a stun gun or Taser. He has no memory of what happened next, including how he sustained his injuries, how he was transported, or how he ended up at a hospital.
When he regained consciousness, Hernandez discovered significant facial injuries consistent with blunt force trauma that he has no memory of sustaining. Throughout his hospitalization, his attorney says two ICE agents remained at his bedside at all times, and he was never given a private opportunity to speak with his medical providers.
Trump administration “pauses” border barrier construction in Big Bend National Park amid fierce bipartisan backlash
“We are killing a gnat with a sledgehammer and wasting a colossal amount of money,” said Texas Judge Greg Henington, a Republican. Ok, sure, but to be fair, isn’t that the Trump regime’s approach to basically every issue it faces?

Trump blows his top at White House reporter for asking about North Korea
America’s wannabe dictator was in no mood to answer questions about conversations he might’ve had with actual dictator Kim Jong Un. When CNN’s Kristen Holmes asked Trump if he scaled back military drills with South Korea at Kim’s request, Donald popped, barking, “Quiet. You’re very disrespectful… Quiet. Who are you with?” When Holmes answered, Trump’s fit continued: “Fake news… You’re a loud, boisterous person. You’re faking news!”
Every accusation is a confession.
