Seriously.

“I didn’t vandalize anything,” Hearn told The Washington Post the day after his arrest last month. “I didn’t destroy or break or peel anything. By the time I realized what was going on, I was being put in handcuffs.”

“There was an effort, a violent effort, to rip up the sealant from the pool, and irrespective of whether or not we think that there is some situation that preceded it, we can state, and prove beyond a reasonable doubt, that he caused damage, and that damage is worth over a thousand dollars,” an unnervingly agitated Pirro said. A thousand dollars?! To the gallows!

Just so we have this straight: Donald Trump’s press secretary wants young Americans to know their real problem is being born into excessive wealth, having everything handed to them, and not understanding the value of hard work. Got it.

US officials reportedly became increasingly concerned that Israel could attempt to assassinate Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf while diplomatic negotiations were underway, reigniting fighting and dragging America deeper into war.

Coming on the heels of fellow Republican Tom Kean taking four months off to sadly insider trade, the double standard is painfully clear.

For members of Congress, it’s “take as much time off as you want and collect your check, no questions asked. And on the rare occasion when you do work, call a recess after two days because you can’t get anything done anyway.” For the rest of us, it’s “work until you die, pleebs.”
