Trump demands metal detectors for Abdul El-Sayed at US Capitol as he spews xenophobic attacks at Democrat during rally
Armed with NO evidence whatsoever, America’s racist Facebook uncle-in-chief launched into a vile, xenophobic tirade, laughably accusing American-born-and-raised epidemiologist Abdul El-Sayed of being a “jihadist” whose phantom allegiances to the Muslim Brotherhood would render him an existential threat to the US Capitol.
Trump raged, “Anyone with that record of support for jihadists would be screened and unable to get a seat on an airplane. They certainly should not give him a seat in the United States Senate.”
El-Sayed, of course, has boarded planes without incident his entire life, has no “record of support for jihadists,” and is currently polling a few percentage points ahead of his Republican opponent and MAGA rubber-stamper, Mike Rogers, for Michigan’s open Senate seat. Having nothing of value to offer Michiganders, Trump and Rogers are banking on that basest of instincts to eke out a win: fear.
Pete Hegseth reportedly eyeing US Senate seat as impeachment threat looms
Secretary of War Crimes Pete Hegseth is reportedly now angling for a US Senate seat over fears House Democrats will launch an impeachment investigation into his disastrous tenure after the midterms. Hegseth reportedly wants current Sen. Marsha Blackburn to appoint him to her seat, should she win her race for governor in deep-red Tennessee.
Hegseth, who grew up in Minnesota, went to Princeton and Harvard, and eventually moved to New York where he began his career as a Fox News bloviator, reportedly called Tennessee home for three whole years before becoming Defense secretary, which apparently is enough time in his mind to represent the entire state in the upper chamber of Congress.
It’s the striking, contemptuous privilege Pete’s been known for most of his adult life. It also explains his recent appearance at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville earlier this month for a University of Tennessee football game decked out like a teenaged carpetbagger.
Republicans have kicked more than 5 million Americans off SNAP in the last year
Since Congress passed Donald’s Big Ugly Bill last year, Republicans have successfully managed to make life immeasurably harder for more than five million Americans, kicking them off the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) at a time when grocery prices are skyrocketing across the board thanks to Trump’s disastrous boondoggle in the Middle East.
Whatever it takes to make sure the super wealthy and obscenely wealthy alike get those precious tax breaks, though, right?

“Norway Sucks!” Trump adds Scandanavian nation to his list of “shithouse” countries over Nobel Prize beef
During his first term in office, Donald Trump lamented Black- and brown-skinned people emigrating from countries he famously derided as “shitholes,” wondering aloud why America wasn’t attracting more people from “white” countries like Norway.
My, how times have changed. Repeatedly “snubbed” for the Nobel Peace Prize he desperately covets but has done nothing to deserve, our 80-year-old malcontent-in-chief has changed his tune on the Scandinavian nation of 5.6 million. Speaking at a Michigan rally yesterday, the man-child declared, “Frankly, Norway sucks. Norway has become a shithouse country, actually.”
Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre has explained to Trump in the past that the Norwegian government actually has nothing to do with awarding the prize, but Granddad’s blackened heart wants what it wants and hates what it hates. Which, admittedly, is a lot.
Wisconsin Republicans behind fake progressive group targeting Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Crowley as too moderate
GOP operatives are doing everything in their power to drag their gubernatorial candidate, Congressman Tom Tiffany, across the finish line, including getting into the Halloween spirit a little early this year. “Progressive Alliance of Wisconsin,” a fake, left-leaning organization, has spent nearly $300,000 on political mailers attacking Democratic candidate David Crowley. Curiously, ALL of the money spent by Progressive Alliance of Wisconsin has gone to The Classen Group, based in…Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The fake group’s treasurer, James Trammell, is an Oklahoma-based GOP operative, where he has worked on numerous Republican campaigns and even run for office himself.
The anti-Crowley mailers are strikingly similar in substance and style to mailers targeting Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar, the Democratic nominee for governor in Minnesota. A fake group called Citizens for Public Safety Transparency, LLC is sending mailers to Minnesotans attacking Klobuchar from the left, citing police accountability and single-payer healthcare.
If you can’t beat them, pretend to be them?
