VIDEO OF THE DAY: Donald turns Dolly Parton “tribute” into a compliment about himself
On 9/11, Donald Trump called into a local New York radio station and talked about owning the tallest building in downtown Manhattan after the World Trade Center towers had just collapsed.
Hours after The Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, in 2016, which claimed the lives of 49 innocent people, Trump took to Twitter to let people know he appreciated being congratulated “for being right on radical Islamic terrorism.”
Speaking at a rally after the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas that killed 60 people, Trump recounted his hospital visit where he met with survivors: “The love in that room for the president was — and it was me, but it was the office — it was an incredible thing.”
So, of course, yesterday, while remembering the legendary Dolly Parton during an interview with Glenn Beck, the malignant narcissist made sure to let the audience know that Dolly “really liked me.”
Donald is quite clearly sick, but it’s the rest of us who must suffer.

Education Dept. accidentally compares Trump to Hitler in bonkers video
Donald Trump’s brain trust at the Dept. of Education tweeted out a video yesterday accidentally comparing their wannabe dictator boss to Adolf Hitler. Anti-intellectual MAGA goons mangling their metaphors and unwittingly comparing Trump to the most evil man of the 20th century is stunningly on the nose and a deeply ironic reminder just how important proper education truly is.
The post, which was eventually deleted, included the caption, “No one does it like us.” You will get no arguments from us there.

Gina Hinojosa hits Greg Abbott where it hurts with BRUTAL new ad
Gina Hinojosa for Texas: Data centers are shaping up to be one of the biggest issues this election cycle — and Democrat Gina Hinojosa is NAILING the wildly corrupt Greg Abbott to the wall with a devastating new ad for accepting $20 MILLION from data center developers. “Greg Abbott is selling you out!” reads the final frame. It’s a powerful message sure to resonate with Texas voters, the majority of whom don’t want a data center anywhere near their homes. Will you chip in to help Gina get this ad on every TV screen and radio in Texas?
Abdul El-Sayed’s hilarious Trump impression comes with a Natalie Harp shoutout
Odds that Donald will refrain from taking that bait? Not good.

RFK Jr. insists measles are under control right after two people die
There have been 2,777 confirmed measles cases across 47 jurisdictions in 2026 alone, the highest number on record since 1991, thanks in large part to declining vaccination rates among Bobby’s do-your-own-research crowd.
We’ve got measles “under control” the same way we’ve got the Strait of Hormuz “under control,” which is to say, not even remotely.

Ted Cruz deletes Dolly Parton tribute after Twitter user pulls brutal username prank

Trump’s botched Reflecting Pool renovation is somehow still peeling off months later
How on EARTH is 67-year-old former Olympian David Hearn STILL managing to sneak past security, scale the 8-foot fence surrounding the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, evade surveillance video, and continue to vandalize Donald’s precious pool liner?! Something just isn’t add up!

California Democrats take on sky high electricity bills and hold utilities accountable
Deploy Action: If you live in California, your electricity bill has likely DOUBLED over the last ten years, because giant corporations like PG&E are profiting off an outdated, unfair system: If they build more stuff, they’re guaranteed to make more money — while your bill skyrockets. Democrats have had enough, and are pushing a new bill to fix this broken system and hold utility companies accountable. But the window to pass it is closing fast — will you add your name to tell Governor Gavin Newsom to pass SB 905 the minute it hits his desk?
US agriculture leader calls Trump’s policies a “national insult”
Donald Trump’s latest round of senseless, self-destructive tariffs and his new plan to import “mystery meat” to alleviate the damage from his own tariffs has America’s farmers wondering: what in the FUCK is he doing?
“This is not what American farmers need right now when we are struggling. We’re struggling with the president’s tariffs. We’re struggling with the high input costs from fuel and diesel and fertilizer from the war in Iran. So it’s a rippling effect,” said National Black Farmers Association President John Boyd on CNN.
Boyd called Trump’s plan to temporarily lift tariffs on 300,000 metric tons of ground beef from the country of Who Knows, Don’t Ask, It’s Fine (seriously, he won’t tell us) “a national insult to America’s producers and cattlemen” and warned it would “weaken our markets and gamble with food safety in the process.” Hard to argue with him there.
Dan Sullivan advances in Alaska Senate race against incumbent Dan Sullivan
It’s official! Republican Dan Sullivan has garnered enough votes to advance to the general election for senator in Alaska, where he will face off against incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan and Democrat Mary Peltola. The fourth and final spot has not yet been decided. But wait, there’s more! A third Dan Sullivan, the former mayor of Anchorage, officially endorsed one of the Dan Sullivans just a few days ago. Any questions?
Senate GOP’s fake news website falsely links former Democratic governor to random murder in other state
Senate Republicans are so desperate to make North Carolina Democratic Senate candidate Roy Cooper look “soft on crime,” they literally made a fake “local news” website to blame the former governor for a random murder that took place in an entirely different state, by a man who never spent a single day in North Carolina custody, months after Cooper left office.
“The North Carolinian” laughably calls itself “independent Journalism for North Carolina.” It is neither independent, nor journalism. And it certainly isn’t “for North Carolina.”
When you cannot run on your record, you have to resort to something else. Republicans have clearly settled on fear.
James Carville goes off on AIPAC and Democrats obsessed with smearing criticism of Israel as antisemitic
Amidst a fresh round of Democratic establishment hand-wringing over left-wing streamer Hasan Piker and Israel, moderate Democratic pundit James Carville issued an important message on the subject.
Speaking with Tara Palmeri on “The Red Letter” podcast, Carville declared, “What AIPAC doesn’t understand is a lot of people and a lot of Democrats can’t stand the current government of Israel, and you can spend all the fucking money you want telling me they’re good and I’m not gonna ever believe it. The people that say that people that disagree with the policies of the government of Israel are antisemites are frankly full of shit and they need to be told that. You can’t have the kind of policies the government of Israel is engaged in and not expect that there’s gonna be pushback and backlash!”
This is precisely the point that Piker made that triggered yet another round of public denouncements from AIPAC’s loyal senators and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, underscoring how cynical and disengenuous this latest smear campaign against criticism of the Netanyahu government really is.
If they’ve lost James Carville, then it’s REALLY time for pro-Israel Democrats to read the writing on the wall.
