The president of the United States spoke to astronauts and staff at NASA on Friday afternoon, and his demented brain STRUGGLED to come up with things to say to the well-educated crowd.

This is what his fryer-grease-soaked cerebellum came up with: “I had an uncle who was a great scientist, a great man. was at MIT for 41 years, Dr. John Trump. And he loved space. He used to tell me about space, space, all space. He would throw in the word nuclear every once in a while. But he loved space. I guess we have genetically, we sort of, believe in that stuff. I love it. I find it so interesting, so amazing. It’s very special.”

If there is one thing Donald Trump 100% does not care about, it’s space. There are no show tunes, fast food joints, big tough guys, scantily clad women, concrete, golden toilets, golf courses, or steam airplane catapults in space.

Side note: we WOULD LOVE to hear more about the science of uncle-genes. Sigh. Houston…we have a problem.

Trump casually threatens to take over two more countries
Hoo boy. Donald Trump has his sights on taking over two Pacific island countries: Micronesia and the Marshall Islands. The president posted a picture to his Truth Social account Thursday night labeled “US Territories,” showing the flags of the Federated States of Micronesia and the Marshall Islands along with multiple U.S. territories. The image also included a map of the Strait of Hormuz, labeled “new.”

Why Trump is claiming them along with the Strait of Hormuz (which the US doesn’t actually control) isn’t clear. Perhaps the president doesn’t understand the Compact of Free Association arrangement, which also allows the US military to operate in the territories, and thinks that means that they are part of the US. And for some reason, his picture didn’t include Palau, another country in the Pacific Ocean that is also part of the CFA with the US.

For more than a year, the National Park Service has been quietly working to fulfill an unprecedented directive from Trump officials: Parcel off a corner of Yosemite National Park to give to a private developer. There is NOTHING this cancerous weasel won’t try to sully, exploit, or despoil for someone’s financial gain — usually his own.

Fed Chair Warsh signals rate hikes may be needed with US inflation stubbornly elevated
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh said Friday that inflation is still too high and suggested the central bank may have to raise interest rates in the coming months to bring it down, a clearer signal than he had sent previously about his economic outlook.

Florida “Deputy of the Year” used Flock to stalk ex, held gun in her mouth, did a Nazi salute
Brevard County Deputy Sheriff Michael Fultz resigned from the force after an internal investigation detailed extreme cases of alleged sexual misconduct, racism, and abuse, including Fultz’s use of Flock cameras to stalk his ex-girlfriend.

Hired in 2024, Fultz was named Brevard County’s Deputy of the Year in 2025. The day of the ceremony Fultz’s ex-girlfriend sent a letter of complaint to the sheriff’s office with a long list of complaints about his behavior. The letter was enough to prompt the sheriffs to investigate Fultz, which is when they discovered he’d used Flock to stalk her.

The 43-page investigation found Fultz had also posed for pictures as Adolf Hitler, freely used racial slurs in texts, masturbated on camera in his police vehicle, took pictures of his ex-girlfriend with his service weapon in her mouth during sex, and repeatedly broke the law to generate clout online for his motorcycle-themed Instagram and TikTok accounts.

American science is under SERIOUS threat
Union of Concerned Scientists: Since the start of Trump’s second term, the Union of Concerned Scientists has documented over 500 attacks on science. Many of these attacks are major scientific integrity violations, including political interference in studies, censoring federal scientists from speaking publicly, disbanding advisory committees of experts, and restricting access to key public health data. Milo Yiannopoulos is in ICE custody facing a final removal order, sources say
Far-right political commentator and deportation advocate Milo Yiannopoulos is currently in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody facing a final order of removal, according to U.S. officials and agency records. Yiannopoulos, who is British, was apprehended in the New Orleans area and is being held in a Louisiana ICE holding facility, the U.S. officials said. A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson said Yiannopoulos came to the U.S. legally in 2019 but “chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws.” The DHS spokesperson said Yiannopoulos was given a final order of removal by an immigration judge on July 22, after failing to show for his immigration hearing. DHS said he will remain in ICE custody pending removal.
